3-3 Mrs. Kristen Skura-Bunce

Hello! My name is Mrs. Kristen Skura-Bunce, and I am so excited to be back for my fifth year at St. Agnes. I am looking forward to a wonderful 3rd trimester with class 3-3!

As many of you know, I was on maternity leave starting at the end of September. I am absolutely thrilled with my new assignment in 3rd Grade; it is such a joy to reconnect with so many of my former students. Seeing how much they have grown and learned since I had them in 1st grade is truly rewarding, and I am honored to be their teacher once again.

Third Trimester Highlights

The third trimester is an action-packed time in 3rd grade! We have some very exciting academic milestones ahead:

• Mastering Multiplication & Division: This trimester, we are putting a major focus on math fluency. Students will work hard on mastering their multiplication tables and dive deep into learning their division facts. Building this strong foundation is key to their future success in mathematics.

• Literary Adventures: In Reading, we will be flying off to Neverland! We are excited to begin reading the classic tale of Peter Pan. Through this novel, we will explore themes of imagination and adventure while strengthening our comprehension and vocabulary skills.
