Welcome to my class page! My name is Kim Baert-McGee (Mrs. McGee to all my students), and I am thrilled to be back teaching music at St.Agnes Cathedral.
This year we have some exciting and fun classes in music.
Second graders prepare singing hymns and carols for the Christmas pageant and the fifth graders perform their annual Christmas concert.
Third graders learn to read music and play recorders. In March our kindergarteners have their annual St Patricks Day March for parents, followed by amazing Irish performance and fantastic step dancing .
In May the entire school celebrates Mary with the May Crowning and we sing Salve Regina, Mary We Crown Thee with Blossoms Today and Immaculate Mary.
All first grade through 4th grade students learn hymns, Bible verses and mass procedures in Liturgical music classes.
When I am not teaching at school , I enjoy skiing, playing tennis with my daughter, going to the beach, playing chess, playing piano and going to mass with my family.
I welcome the opportunity to inspire your children through music and look forward to the promising school year ahead.

Saint Michael the archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil: May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for thr ruin of souls.
Amen.
